Business Analysis sits within our commercial section, which is responsible for managing the direct wholesale and network cost of the retail business. It’s no small task as these costs include all our wholesale power and gas purchases and all the costs that inevitably arise from transporting, transmitting and distributing power and gas to our customers.
You’ll take the lead on projects – such as assessing the impact on energy demand created by high prices and climate change. As you’ll know, the energy industry is fundamental to the way in which climate change is handled. From technology, through our customers to service delivery, our graduates think about issues, impact and future strategy.
We believe in giving our graduates real projects and real responsibility. For example, you could be working in Commercial Risk Analysis assessing our exposure to energy markets. Or you could be programming, analysing or even adapting existing models to make them work better for us.
